Aging aircraft, questionable ethics and an uncertain market often combine to make the purchase of a used airplane quite intimidating. Today, any used aircraft needs to be evaluated far beyond the initial impression. If a price sounds too good to be true, there might be a reason.
At Willmar Air Service, our goal is to provide a good airplane for a fair price. The result will be a satisfied long-term customer. Anything less is unacceptable.

Assist to sell
Recent experience has prompted our decision to only represent aircraft that have been inspected and qualified by our own staff. This means that your airplane must be already supported by us or receive a Willmar Air Service evaluation prior to marketing. Providing needed insight into the aircraft adds credibility and comfort for any purchaser. Purchasing an aircraft is too big a commitment for us to offer anything less.

If distance is an issue we can still help in marketing your Mooney. After obtaining your personal evaluation, we'll place your aircraft in our marketing system. The ultimate delivery is subject to a Willmar Air Service inspection at our Minnesota facility.
If the aircraft is withdrawn from the market, you are responsible for accrued expenses. For your protection, our obligation to you is professional evaluation and marketing.

Searching the Internet for that special Mooney can be fun. We encourage you to do exactly that, and then we'll help you make an educated decision about the final purchase.
The challenge is evaluating that distant airplane by photos and telephone conversations. Knowledge and experience are absolutely required. Our staff can make a difference, and we're willing to get involved with those delicate questions — right down to the final purchase price. We can provide hands-on evaluation and significant comfort for a small percentage of the negotiated purchase price.
