Whether your aircraft is new or a vintage model, it requires specialized
maintenance. At Willmar Air Service, we have the experience to
provide that maintenance. Of course, we also realize that getting
your aircraft to us may be inconvenient at best. To help minimize
this difficulty while conserving valuable time, consider the following
options.
Accompany
your aircraft personally. As always, we invite you to accompany your
aircraft and remain in Willmar while service is completed. For any
major maintenance — service anticipated to require a minimum of 20
hours of labor, including annual inspections — your transportation
assistance will be rewarded with a discount from our standard labor
rate. This same discount is provided as a courtesy to our local
customers.
Use a Willmar Air Service pilot to take you home and pick you
up again in your own aircraft. If the distance is reasonable, this
service will be provided for a cost to reimburse the approximate
direct employee overhead. This service allows time to evaluate
your aircraft both before and after your maintenance is completed.
Let us pick up your aircraft. If you're unable to fly to Willmar,
we'll make arrangements for one of our staff to pick up your aircraft
and return it again after service is completed. We'll provide the
pilot for the approximate actual employee expense. You'll pay the
same discounted rental rate as if you flew the plane yourself.
The standard shop rate will be charged if this transportation service
is provided.
Coordinate transportation with a commercial carrier. Commercial
service is available in the Minneapolis metro area. Consider bringing
your aircraft to Minneapolis and returning home by airline. One
of our pilots will pick up your aircraft from the Minneapolis area
and return it again after service is completed. At that time, you
can complete the round trip airline flight back to Minneapolis.
You'll pay the same discounted rental rate for time accrued on
Willmar Air Service aircraft as if you flew the plane yourself,
which will be limited to one round trip to the Minneapolis area.
Pilot service will be provided at a rate to reimburse us for the
actual employee expense. In exchange for your personal time spent
in transportation, we'll provide a discount from our
standard labor rate for any major maintenance — an annual inspection
or service anticipated to require a minimum of 20 hours of labor.
Other special transportation services. If the delivery of a particular
aircraft can be coordinated with the pickup of another, any cost
savings will be passed on to you. If you'd like us to coordinate
a special service that we cannot provide — such as an avionics
repair — we'll offer one of our aircraft at the customer service
rate and charge only for the reimbursement of the actual employee
expense. Schedules are subject to aircraft availability.
